Recently, my mother-in-law and my wife were discussing some challenges within our family, and I said, "Do you know the secret?" They asked, "What is the secret?" I replied, "Fast, pray, and God will reveal everything." Some people might think, "Oh no, not that!" But it’s true: when you surrender to the practice of fasting and prayer, or when the church as a whole commits to fasting and prayer, that's when you begin to see just how flawed the visible church is.
